INTERLIBRARY LOAN FOR PERIODICAL ARTICLES


It is preferred that you use the WorldCat database for book or media interlibrary loan requests and the Article First database for periodical article "Interlibrary Loan" requests. However, if you are having problems with accessing either of these two databases, you may also use this "Interlibrary Loan" request form.

This form should be completed to request periodical articles that are not in our periodical databases or available in the Library. To mail the recommendation, press the Send InterLibrary Loan button at the bottom of the page.

In the appropriate spaces above, please enter the name of the student or faculty member making this InterLibrary Loan request, the department or program in which they are a student or professor, and his/her e-mail address. Then, in the spaces below, fill in all blanks and submit the completed form by sending it to the Library (Send InterLibrary Loan button at bottom of page). Please use and send a separate form for each article requested.


This is an interlibrary loan request for periodical articles not provided by the Library's periodical databases or available in the Library, but which are available at other college or university libraries. Your request will be entered into the electronic OCLC system and you will be notified when the material has arrived at the Library (usually one to four weeks). You may pick up your ILL materials at the circulation desk of the Library. There is a charge of $1.00 per request for periodical articles not picked up within two weeks after notification of arrival of the article at the C. E. Brown Library.

The copyright law of the United States (Title 17, United States Code) governs the making of photocopies or other reproductions of copyrighted material. Under certain conditions specified in the law, libraries and archives are authorized to furnish a photocopy of other reproduction.
